Astha Dixit is an internationally-reputed Kathak dancer and choreographer who is known for her sensitive portrayals of the timeless work of Sufi poets and themes of love. As a choreographer, she has toured with her dance company all over the world and performed on well-known cultural platforms. She is a disciple of Malti Shyam of the Lucknow Gharana and Harish Gangani of the Jaipur Gharana.

The Astha Dixit Dance Company is rooted in traditional Kathak blended with a fresh modern perspective. The company has performed at top festivals all over the world including in Muscat, Kuwait, the Beijing National Centre for Performing Arts and Forum de Beirut, Lebanon. In India, the group has performed at Jahan-e -Khusrau in Bhopal among other popular stages.
